Self care activities and ideas to boost your mental health

Self-care is about taking care of oneself when we feel overwhelmed.

Self care is so important to keeping your self in a good place. Having daily ideas and activities to get you through an overwhelming moment are good to have.

Here is a list of Self care activities and ideas to boost your mental health and even your day!

Drink More Water. I dont drink alot of water to begin with so this is important to me. It really can make a difference in how you feel. It helps me with my energy and it keeps my hydrated!

Unfollow People. Anyone who makes you feel unhappy, or brings you pain, or makes you feel less than your should. Cut them out!

YOUR LAUNDY & CHANGE YOUR SHEETS! Wash your bedsheets & clothes every week. Wipe down the surfaces in your space and organize your area. Doing this will make you feel brand new!

Stretch and workout more! It gets your energy up and can even tbh

Listen to some new music.

Have a journal or just write things down. Something is bothering you? Write it down. Become upset about something, write it down. It will help you let it go for the moment, and can even make you feel better. Did something make you happy?! Make sure to take it down. You want also have good memories to look back on.

Make more time for people. Even though it can be easier to just be alone make time fo others. You aren’t as alone as you think you are, there is always someone that wants to be around you.

pay attention to what you’re eating

Pack your bag the night before. Everything will be easier for you in the morning. I dont like feeling rushed or running around like a headless chicken.

Get more sleep! If you dont get enough sleep now, Start going to bed earlier. It can be as simple as going to bed 15 to 30 mins earlier . From there keep it going and see if you can get a good 7 top 8. If you are always tired getting the correct amount of rest or sleep will get your energy back where it needs to be.
